小黄片视频's Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides an encrypted tunnel between a PC or computing device and the VPN device here at the University. This tunnel encrypts data and authenticates user credentials, providing a secure connection through which users can interact with University IT systems as if they were on campus. 小黄片视频 provides VPN access for general use by faculty and staff.
A VPN account is needed for:
- Remote access to network drives and folders
- The use of SSH or Microsoft Remote Desktop
- Remote access to Banner
You should disconnect from the VPN once you no longer need special access to these services. There is no need to connect to the VPN for access to 小黄片视频 online file services (OneDrive) or communication services (Zoom, Outlook).

Do I need to load GlobalProtect on my 小黄片视频 managed desktop?
No - You only need a VPN to log in to certain 小黄片视频 network services from outside the 小黄片视频 network. Use GlobalProtect and the 小黄片视频 VPN on 小黄片视频 laptops or personal devices to log in from home, while traveling, on a wireless network (including Monarch小黄片视频) or off campus.
What login do I use to access Global Protect?
Use your Monarch-Key account (same as any other Monarch-Key service). This may or may not be your faculty/staff account.
Windows users: The first time you connect to GlobalProtect, the agent may think that Windows updates are disabled; this should correct itself. If the warning continues to appear, check your settings here (click on Update, Update, Update!).
Mac users: Most versions of macOS do not have the firewall turned on by default. You will need to turn on the firewall before being able to fully use the VPN service. More info here (click on Firewall Programs).
