This presentation will introduce the Monarch Humanities Internship Academy (MHIA) by highlighting its mission, the generous support from the Mellon Foundation, and its vision to enhance work-based learning (WBL) opportunities for humanities students. Key topics will include defining WBL, its role in developing career-readiness competencies, and the importance of faculty development in integrating WBL into the curriculum. The presentation will also showcase the Internship Studio, student achievements from the summer program, and conclude with a Q&A session to engage faculty in discussion.
